Victory over the Computer!!!

I am officially wireless, unless you count the power cable sometimes. I worked on setting up the router for hours (go ahead and laugh all you want Alex, just because I'm terrible with computers). The trick, was turning off the modem, turning it back on, and finally wait a few minutes to let it identify the router. Its working so far, so keep your fingers crossed for me...

hmmm...the modem doesn't identify the router...it doesn't even know it's there. The router identifies the internet connection coming from the modem itself, but really, it doesn't see the modem either. Hehe.

I hate my router. It goes out just about every other second.

If it's any help whatsoever...

If the router is a linksys or any other type of "normal brand" you can access the configurations and other setup stuff by typing 192.168.1.1 into your IE address bar. The username is admin and the password is admin by default (no caps).

If it's D-link it should be 192.168.2.0 (I think)
